Residency Verification Documents

Registration and re-enrollment for the coming school year (2019-2020) is upon us. Because we are a magnet school, there are yearly residency verification requirements that our Board of Trustees has mandated. 

 ALL required documents MUST be provided at the same time. The deadline for paperwork to be submitted to the MCS office is June 28, 2019. We will do everything we can to make this process as efficient as possible.


1.  Residency Affidavit (we have a notary at the office)

2.  Copy of your Property Tax bill or rental agreement

3.  Official Mail - copy of a utility bill


Important: Be advised that students residing outside Charleston County may be required to pay tuition per Board of Trustees #39; policy JFAB - Nonresident Students. If you have any questions about out of county tuition, please contact the Office of General Counsel at 843-937-6515. 

Please note that your child may not be enrolled for the 2019-2020 school year if residency is not verified by June 28.
