Mission Statement: CCSD School Library Programs provide equitable access to diverse, current, and relevant materials. We empower students to discover, create, and expand their understanding of the world in an open and welcoming environment. We support all school and community stakeholders through collaborating, teaching, and removing barriers to learning.

Summer Reading 2026

Summer Reading flyers were sent home in students' parent folders 2 weeks before the end of school. Each flyer had your student's username and password to access Beanstack to log reading. Also a paper copy to log reading if not utilizing Beanstack was in the folder as well. Students earn prizes at 10, 25, and 45 days at the Charleston County Public Library. Students may access SORA to read books online during the summer as well!
