Welcome to Montessori Community School Of Charleston

Welcome to the website of the Montessori Community School of Charleston (MCSC). MCSC is a small magnet program serving students ages 3 - 13 years old in our Primary, Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, and new Middle School classrooms (also known as "environments" in a Montessori school).

We are dedicated to providing quality Montessori education and child development with the cooperative involvement of family, faculty and the community.
 
If you are or know of a teacher who is Montessori certified and interested in working in Charleston County School District, please contact Kim Hay at kimberly_hay@charleston.k12.sc.us.   As CCSD begins to expand its Montessori schools, Montessori teachers will be be needed from Primary through Middle School levels.

    Montessori Community School Application Process

    Montessori Community School of Charleston is a Charleston County public school. We are located at 2120 Wood Avenue, Charleston, SC, 29414.  Students who are residents of Charleston County are eligible to apply.
